🤩 Excited to welcome Prof. Kevin Brindle as newly appointed Hans Fischer Senior Fellow at Technische Universität München, TUM Institute for Advanced Study within our research group. Together we will explore Deuterium Metabolic Imaging (DMI) for non-invasive metabolic characterisation of tumours pre-clinically and in patients, potentially leading to a more personalised and earlier treatment response assessment.
💡 Deuterium metabolic imaging measures metabolic fluxes non-invasively.
👌 There is neither injection of an intravenous agent nor ionizing radiation involved.
