Your thesis advances the field of hyperpolarized 13C MRI and MRS—from innovative multi-voxel sequence development enabling biopsy-like metabolic and pH mapping, to the evaluation of a novel PHIP-SAH polarizer as a fast and cost-effective alternative to d-DNP, and the demonstration of in vivo temperature mapping using hyperpolarized [1-13C]pyruvate and [1-13C]lactate.
By combining technical innovation with thorough in vivo validation, your work which was an important part of several team efforts, significantly expands the methodological and translational potential of hyperpolarized MRI.
